The Little Tunnel that Changed the World

For this project, we were asked to create a comic book, picture book, or animation based on the theme of transformation. I decided to focus my work on the transformation of the Thames Tunnel in Rotherhithe.

The story of a father and daughter traveling on a London Overground train through the tunnel served as a device to illustrate the tunnel's transformation from a foot tunnel in 1843 to an integral part of London's modern public transportation system. Additionally, I aimed to highlight the tunnel's history and distinction as the first underwater tunnel.

Gosh Comics, a comic book store in Soho, London, sold a small number of copies of the finished book The Little Tunnel that Changed the World.
